On November 16, 2012, the New York State Police at Liberty received a report that a Kubota tractor had been stolen from property in the Town of Cochecton. On December 1, 2012, after an investigation by members the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation, and with the assistance of the Pennsylvania State Police, the tractor was located in Beach Lake, Pennsylvania.
EDWARD PATALON, age 47, of Cochecton, NY was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny in the third degree for the theft of the tractor. He was arraigned in Town of Cochecton Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail in lieu of cash bail.
