LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Catskill Art Society will present a screening of the film “Shakespeare in Love” (1998), featuring a talkback with programmer Bradley Diuguid, at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 11. Part of the CAS Film Club series of screenings, this event will take place at the Laundry King, 65 Main St.

DVAA Chili Cook Off

NARROWSBURG, NY — Bring your appetite for chili to the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA) at 37 Main St. for a mid-winter chili cook-off on Saturday, February 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. Ten cooks will bring crocks of their favorite chili to kick off the DVAA’s 2017 “Savor the Arts” season. Biscuits, wine, and beer will be provided.

Casting call for ‘Sweeney Todd’

HURLEYVILLE, NY — The Sullivan County Dramatic Workshop will hold auditions for its August production of “Sweeney Todd: the Demon Barber of Fleet Street” on Saturday, February 11 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Sullivan County Museum, Art & Cultural Center, 265 Main St. Some dancing may be required, and facility with an English accent is preferred.

‘Lovers and Visionaries’

MILFORD, PA — The ARTery Gallery presents “Lovers and Visionaries,” a themed group show, for the month of February. The celebrations of both Valentine’s and Presidents’ Day provide interesting themes for the gallery’s artists to explore in their works.
