This is a release from the Wayne County Coroner’s Office:

“This office was dispatched this morning to the shore of Lake Wallenpaupack in Paupack Township.

“Wayne County Coroner Edward Howell arrived on scene and pronounced 64 year old Jeffrey S. Greene dead at the scene at 08:30 AM. Mr. Green is a resident of Greentown, PA. Reportedly, Mr. Greene had been missing since the afternoon of July 10, 2019 .

“An autopsy will be performed later today. This office will provide more information as it becomes available.”

State Police reported Greene, from Palmyra Township, was boating on Lake Wallenpaupack on July 10 and was last seen on his boat in the afternoon.

The Ledgedale Dive/Rescue Team and the Tafton Fire Department searched for him.
