HAWLEY, PA — Concert venue Harmony in the Woods (HITW) will host three concerts Friday through Sunday, August 18-20. Opening times vary; see below.

This year, HITW is partnering with public radio station and TV network WVIA, which is celebrating its 50th year.

The Sunday concert, featuring violinist Patricia Treacy, will benefit WVIA. It takes place at 5:30 p.m. on August 20.

Treacy hails from County Louth in Ireland, and interprets Irish music. She is featured in the film “Ireland.”

The Shook Twins perform on August 18, led by twin sisters. Their performance at Harmony will be one of only a few concerts on their brief East Coast tour.

The Gold Magnolias return to Harmony on August 19. The band hails from Brooklyn but its sound is soulful and Southern, a press release noted.

Admission to the Shook Twins’ concert costs $35 for general admission; admission to the Gold Magnolias costs $25. Both performances begin at 6 p.m.

The cost for the Patricia Treacy/WVIA benefit concert is $50 or $100, and the performance begins at 5:30 p.m.
All shows take place at Harmony in the Woods, 19 Imagination Way.

Doors open 45 minutes prior to the start of the concerts.

Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic dinners, drinks and snacks. Lawn chairs are preset and provided for every attendee.
