Jan Marie Hoadley of Beach Lake, PA and formerly of Chesapeake, VA, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the University of PA Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 56.

Hoadley was born September 12, 1956 in Callicoon, NY and was the daughter of the late Robert, Sr. and Joan Duncan (Staite) Rosemergy.

She was employed as a vice president and bank manager by the Dime Bank in Damascus, PA.

Hoadley attended many banking courses throughout the years and was active with many community outreach activities with the bank, MDA and other groups.

She is survived by her husband of 37 years, James W.Hoadley, Sr.; one son and daughter-in-law, James Jr. and Heather Hoadley of Elizabeth City, NC; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Joe Bickel of Northampton, PA; five grandchildren, Makayla, Bryce, Casey, Anthony and Devin; one brother, Charles Robert Rosemergy and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral was held on Saturday, February 16 at Teeters’ East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley with Rev. Debra Dailey, pastor Lakeville United Methodist Church, officiating.

Cremation was at Lake Region Crematory in Lake Ariel.
