Clinton T. Partridge Jr., noted songwriter, stone-master and humanitarian, formerly of Bethel, NY, died on July 6, 2011, following a long illness. He was 59.

Clint’s composition, “Woods and the Waters,” became the New York State theme for the environment. The song and accompanying video have been used in school systems throughout the state to educate students about the importance of respecting our natural resources. Clint was also a gifted stone-master, designing and constructing breathtaking stone walls and gardens throughout the region.

No matter the endeavor, Clint’s work came from his heart. He was a beautiful man. Now Clint is free to soar with the eagles.

Clint is survived by his beloved Debra LaGrutta; sister Susan Partridge Battler and husband John; brother Tom Partridge and wife Nivida; nieces Courtney Wiand and Ellie Battler; nephews Sean Donnellan and wife Candice and Chip Wiand, and a great-nephew.

A celebration of Clint’s life will take place at the family home in West Nyack on Saturday, July 30. For information contact Tom: tpartridge@optonline.net.
