Alex Jenkins of Glen Spey passed away in New City, NY on January 15, 2011. He was 70.

Alex was born April 29, 1940, in Warwick, NY.

Since November 12, 2001, his family had been the staff and the individuals who live at Silverman House of The Crystal Run Village Inc. Alex attended Rose Valley day program at Sullivan ARC. The years he spent at Silverman were happy and content and he will be greatly missed.

He is survived by sisters Edith and Ida.

He is predeceased by his parents; and brother Russel.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, January 18 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst officiating. Interment followed at Hillside Cemetery, Woodbourne, NY.
