The council of the Town of Tusten will have a new member at the beginning of the year.
After the absentee ballots were counted, Padua maintained her count over current council member Ned Lang.
With absentee votes, Jane Luchsinger had 307 votes, Padua had 267 and Lang had 234.
The absentee ballots were counted on November 17.
