JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — One of the favorite events at the Jeffersonville Oktoberfest is the Build Your Own Boat (BYOB) contest, which will be held this year on October 8. There are a few rules for participating: the boat and oars must be handmade; the boat must be human powered, the boat must have two passengers, and the rest is up to the participants.
