MILFORD, PA — The Grey Towers Heritage Association and the U.S. Forest Service collected 514 pounds of non-perishable food (381 items) from visitors who attended the annual ice cream social and free open house at Grey Towers on July 4. The annual event is a re-creation of the ice cream socials hosted by Pennsylvania Gov. Gifford Pinchot when he lived at Grey Towers. The organizations sponsor this event and donate the food items to the Ecumenical Food Pantry in Milford.
