MILFORD, PA — Commercial food establishments and non-profit organizations with proper certifications are encouraged to apply for an opportunity to provide refreshments at the annual Festival of Wood at Grey Towers National Historic Site. All food vendors must meet required health and safety guidelines.

The two-day event, scheduled for August 2 to 3, attracts nearly 2,500 people to the historic estate. The event, which focuses on educating people about the many uses of wood in our everyday lives and the importance of sustainable forestry practices, is sponsored by the U.S. Forest Service and numerous partners at the ancestral home of Gifford Pinchot, founder and first Chief of the U.S. Forest Service.
