BETHEL, NY — The harsh winter has forced the Bethel Motor Speedway (BMS) to postpone its scheduled preseason practice, originally slated for Saturday, April 12, to the following Saturday, April 19.
“With significant snowfalls and a slow warm-up, there is still snow on the property,” stated BMS Business Operations Manager Tracy Chirico. “We believe that our racers and fans deserve a quality experience when we swing open the gates, so we feel it is in everyone’s best interests to postpone practice.”
Pit gates will open at 2:30 p.m. on April 19, with cars hitting the track at 4:30 p.m. There will be open practice for all divisions and INEX points races for the Legends and Bandoleros. Pit entry for the day costs $15. The grandstand will be open for free admission.
