MONTICELLO, NY — The Literacy Volunteers of Sullivan County will have tutor training on six consecutive Wednesdays: March 26, April 2, April 9, April 16, April 23 and April 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The training will take place at The Literacy Center, 63 North St.

After training is completed, the new volunteer tutor is matched one-on-one with an adult student. Students coming to the literacy program need reading and writing skills to improve the quality of their lives. Call 845/794-0017 for more information or to register for the training.
