LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — On Wednesday, January 8, 18 alumni from the Sullivan West class of 2012 volunteered to meet with current high school juniors and seniors to discuss their post-high school experiences. Alumni not pictured are James Finn (SCCC), Kyle Flynn (Brockport, ROTC); E.J. Franskevicz (Western New England); Megan Haberli (Albany, Navy Reserves); Sarah Hubert (Alfred State); Kayla Moffett (Roscoe Nursing Home); Todd Roeder (Union); Sabryna Sanchez (Binghamton University); and Jeffrey Yeung (Purchase).

It was unanimous that seniors should not “slack off.” The recommendation was for them to take challenging courses, in particular to take college credit courses such as Advance Placement, SCCC, R.I.T. and S.U.P.A., which are available at Sullivan West. They also strongly encouraged the students to start their college planning process as soon as possible and write their college essays during the summer.
