MILFORD, PA — The 15th Black Bear Film Festival’s annual Artful Bear Debut will take place on the lawn of the Milford Community House, 201 Broad St., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 16.

The event will unveil this year’s 11 artful bear sculptures, each created by a local artist. Light refreshments will be served, and guests will have the chance to meet the artists and take photos with the bears. After the event, the bears will be moved to the storefronts and lawns of sponsoring businesses, where they’ll remain until the weekend of the film festival, October 17 to 19. A “bear map” detailing the locations of each sculpture will be available at the event.

This year’s artful bear artists are Sean Addy, Todd Anderson, Ricky Boscarino, Adrienne Butvinik, Richard D’Ambrosia, Tamara D’Antoni, Gary Dodd, Julia Healy, Robert Krause, KJ Sakura and Jimmy Sheehan.
