BETHEL, NY and HAWLEY, PA — There will be two chances this weekend for area residents to see Connor Garvey, a singer/songwriter whose “rhythmic detail and winsome way with a melody bring to mind the music of Paul Simon in his Rhymin Simon days as well as contemporaries Josh Ritter and Jason Mraz,” (music blog Direct Current). On Friday, October 25, Garvey will appear at the Dancing Cat Saloon on Route 17B in Bethel, NY, starting at 8 p.m. Then on Saturday, October 25 in Hawley, PA, he will perform for Harmony Presents in the Boiler Room, located on the lowest level of the Hawley Silk Mill at 8 Silk Mill Dr., starting at 7:30 p.m.
