HAWLEY, PA— Appearing as a duo, Nicky Egan and her side-man will take you through the streets of Blue-Eyed Soul on Saturday, September 7 at 7:30 p.m. in the Boiler Room on the lowest floor in the Hawley Silk Mill.

Egan is a Berklee College of Music graduate whose sound blends elements of R&B, funk, soul and rock. Egan’s full band, The Majority, has toured all over the United States, including stints at the famed Whiskey a Go Go and a fundraiser for Penn State Children’s Hospital, where they played to a crowd of 10,000. With her influences ranging from Candi Staton, Sarah Vaughn and Janis Joplin, to James Brown and Joe Cocker, Radio Boston describes Egan as having “a voice that sounds more soulful and world weary than her 23 years might suggest.”

Tickets at the door cost $20. Visit www.harmonypresents.com, email jill@silkmillharmony.com or call 570/588-8077.

Wine, beer and light snacks are made available by Cocoon Catering during the show. You may also reserve a picnic for the patio overlooking Wallenpaupack High Falls to enjoy before the show. Picnics include an appetizer, main course and dessert and can be reserved by calling Cocoon Catering at 570/390-4440 by 6 p.m. the day before the show.
