MILFORD, PA — Bear sculptures will be revealed at the 14th Black Bear Film Festival’s Artful Bears Debut Picnic to be held rain or shine on Saturday, August 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The sculptures will be on display at the festival from October 18 to 20.

The picnic will be held on the lawn of the Pike County Community House. The 13 bears, each created by a local artist, will be distributed to various storefronts of businesses sponsoring them. The event will offer “bear maps” showing the locations of the bears after the festivities.

The picnic will also feature free homemade baked goods and live musical entertainment.
