Milford, PA — Milford’s Music in the Park summer concert series begins with performances by the Mike Lawlor Banned from 1 to 2 p.m. and MiZ from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 9 in the Ann Street Park at Anne and Catherine streets. The event is free.
Mike Lawlor is a multiple award winner in many music arenas and has opened for Stone Temple Pilots in Boston. His live playing includes Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix covers, and his original material that stretches the boundaries of funk, jazz and rock. MiZ is a Rock-Americana artist from Northeast Pennsylvania. This past summer, MiZ was invited to play the Allman Brother’s-Peach Festival and the Gathering of the Vibes in Bridgeport CT. MiZ was named 2011 Tri-State Indie’s “Acoustic Artist of the Year.”
The concert series will continue every other Sunday after the festival, on June 23, July 7, July 21, August 4 and August 18. Visit www.facebook.com/gazebomusic.
