CLARYVILLE, NY — A dinner will be served at Neversink Farm, a small-scale organic vegetable and flower farm in the Catskills, on Saturday September 1. The gate opens at 6:30 p.m. and dinner is at 7:30 p.m.
For one evening, straw and farm equipment will be hauled from the 150-year-old working barn and a dining environment created. Before dinner there is time to enjoy canapés while wandering the vegetable fields, strolling the flower garden and walking the banks of the river. James Beard Award-winning chef Patrick Connolly will prepare a multiple course meal sourced from the fields nearby and other local farms.
Buy tickets at The Neversink Farm Store, open Thursday to Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; at the Neversink Farm stall at area farmers’ markets; online with a credit card at neversinkbarndinner.eventbrite.com; or at Main Street Farm in Livingston Manor. Tickets cost $110. Visit www.neversinkfarm.com.
