LIBERTY, NY — “A Valentine to Rock your Mind” is the motto for a concert and party on Friday, February 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. at Liberty’s Elementary School Gym, 201 North Main Street. The concert is organized and hosted by TeamSkate Liberty and will feature a bevy of local talent: The Up & Coming, Gassito’s Revenge, Greg Castro, Justin Sutherland, Mikey Criggz, Julian Giaimo and DJ Sierra Thomas.

The event is to promote the recently revived effort of TeamSkate Liberty to build a skate park in Liberty. The funds for the first phase are in place, and the team is currently reviewing designs and concepts for the park to be built in 2012. Visit the Facebook page “Team Skate Liberty NY.”
