DINGMANS FERRY, PA — The Pocono Environmental Education Center (PEEC) will host its second annual Community Fish Fry on April 16 to celebrate the opening of day of trout season in Pennsylvania. The dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m., followed by a short canoe paddle on Front Pond. The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 10 and under.
At 1 p.m. that day, participants can join the PEEC staff as they explore nearby breeding pools for salamander egg masses, for a cost of $5. Nets and collection jars will be provided for up-close study.
