HONESDALE, PA — Gathering Time and Mara Levine return to the stage at The Cooperage in Honesdale on Sunday, October 8 at 5 p.m.; doors open at 4. Gathering Time is a folk-rock/Americana harmony trio. With a vocal blend often described as seamless, they evince deep roots in ‘60s folk-rock, with a dash of traditional folk in the mix, and were voted one of “Long Island’s Best” by the Long Island Press.

Mara Levine shares shows on a regular basis with Gathering Time, which supports Levine on her sets, faithfully reproducing the intricate harmony arrangements of her recordings in stunning detail. Called one of the best singers of her generation by Christine Lavin, folksinger and jewelry designer Levine was nominated by Ron Olesko in 2009 for the Suzi Wollenberg Folk DJ Showcase at the Northeast Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) Conference. She was selected for a Quad showcase at NERFA for 2014.
