Wayne County District Attorney, Patrick L. Robinson, announced today that a Wayne County Jury convicted Sean Hannon, age 49 of Dunmore, PA, of two (2) Felonies and four (4) Misdemeanors relating to allowing his eleven (11) year old daughter to drive a vehicle from Covington Township, Lackawanna County to Salem Township, Wayne County.
At 2:25 AM Wednesday, Monticello officers on patrol observed Derik Powell, 29, acting out in an erratic manner on Broadway. Powell was yelling and screaming profanities while on a sidewalk. Powell then picked up a garbage can and threw it into the roadway as the officers patrol vehicle was passing by.
HONESDALE, PA — A former teacher, Gaspare Gambino, 35, of Honesdale was sentenced on July 5 to 180 days to six months in Wayne County Correctional Facility. The sentence was handed down by Senior Judge Raymond Hammill for six counts of invasion of privacy.

Monticello Police arrested James E. Martin “AKA Butterball”, age 46, of Monticello, on Thursday 6/28/18. Martin was charged with felonies for Assault in the 2nd degree and Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd degree.
HONESDALE, PA — Kelley Branning, 30, has been sentenced from 40 to 96 months in prison for allegedly committing an armed robbery in December 2017. According to Wayne County District Attorney Patrick Robinson, Kelley robbed the China Castle Restaurant on Main St.
