PIKE COUNTY, PA — The Pike County Workforce Development Agency is looking for employers to attend the upcoming WORKING PIKE Job Fair on Tuesday, April 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing, located at 120 US-6, Matamoras, PA.

All job seekers will receive an employer directory that highlights employers' companies and employment opportunities. More than 350 job seekers from across Pike, Monroe, Wayne, Sullivan, Orange, and Sussex Counties attended last year’s event.

April 1 is approaching quickly, and the Workforce Development Agency encourages employers to register early. Employer registration ends Friday, March 21.

Employers can register online using the WORKING PIKE Job Fair registration forms available on the workforce page of the county website, www.pikepa.org/workforce. The registration fee for employers is only $60.00 and there is the option to pay by credit card or check. Employers who choose to pay by credit card will incur a 3% processing fee.

The organization known as WORKING PIKE is a group dedicated to building a stronger community through the partnership of government, community and faith-based organizations.

This year’s WORKING PIKE sponsors include Lackawanna College Lake Region Center, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Bold Gold Media Group, Neversink Media and the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing.

For more information on the WORKING PIKE Job Fair, contact Cindy DeFebo, Director of the Pike County Workforce Development Agency, at 570/296-2909 or cdefebo@pikepa.org.
