LAKE HUNTINGTON, NY — Five fire companies are responding to a structure fire at  American Electric on Nearing Road in the Town of Cochecton.

Lake Huntington Volunteer Fire Department responded and called for mutual aid from Lava,  for their tanker truck; Callicoon for their ladder truck; and firefighter assistance from Kenoza Lake, and White Lake fire departments. Jeffersonville is on standby for Kenoza Lake.
