HONESDALE, PA — Pediatric COVID vaccine clinics will be held at Wayne Memorial Community Health Centers’ pediatric offices as follows: Wednesday, November 17, from 4 to 7 pm, at Honesdale Pediatric Center, 1837 Fair Avenue, Honesdale, phone: 570/253-5838; Thursday, November 18, from 4 to 7 pm, at Waymart Pediatric Center, 27B Woodlands Drive, Waymart, phone: 570/488-9550; Tuesday, November 23, from 4 to 7 pm, Sterling Pediatric Center, 62 Industrial Park Road, Lake Ariel, phone: 570/689-7565. Additionally, the Carbondale Family Health Center will hold a clinic in their second-floor office at 141 Salem Avenue on Tuesday, November 24 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. The office phone is 570/282-2031.
Please note Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine will be available for ages five through 17 at the Honesdale clinic whereas only the 5- to 11-year-old dose will be offered at Waymart, Sterling and Carbondale. The clinics are open to all children. Appointments may be made by calling the respective office phone number. Parents are asked to bring the child’s insurance card with them.
