LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — On Wednesday, January 15, scholar athletes from a six-pack of local high schools perfected their indoor track skills at an exhibition meet held at SUNY Sullivan. The indoor meet was in preparation for the upcoming divisional meets, scheduled for January 31 (divisions II, IV, VI) and February 1 (I, III, V).
And if all goes well, it’s on to the OCIAA league championships on February 8, and then perhaps the brass ring at the states.
The winter track athletes represented four of the six divisions at the middle-of-the-month exhibition meet: Division III (Monticello), Division IV (Liberty), Division V (Fallsburg, Ellenville – MHAL) and Division VI (Eldred, Tri-Valley, Sullivan West).
