PORT JERVIS, NY — An exhibition of work by Gordon Graff, Mark Wright and Roz Hodgkins will be on view at the UpFront Exhibition Space from Friday, December 6 to Sunday, December 29.

An artists’ reception will be held on Saturday, December 14 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The three artists help with the shows at the exhibition space. Graff is the owner/director.

Graff moved to Port Jervis in 2004 and opened an antique shop. As he began to acquire antiques, the idea of putting various parts together inspired him, and the objects became what one viewer called characters in conversation or drama.  

Mark Wright, aka Midartz, refers to his art as primarily neo-expressionist. Wright said he wants viewers to feel the energy of his paintings, the strength, leadership and vulnerability. 

Roz Hodgkins spent 45 years in New York City exploring painting styles from pop art to non-objective. For the last 15 years, she has been living in this area and painting her perceptions of nature’s moods and seasons. Her art has been reviewed in Art in America, The Village Voice, Arts Magazine and Art News. Her art is in private and corporate collections.  

The UpFront Exhibition Space is located at 31 Jersey Ave.
