MILFORD, PA — An exploration of history and its relevance to current affairs will be front and center when historian Jack Kelly, author of “God Save Benedict Arnold: The True Story of America’s Most Hated Man” appears at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 at the Milford Theater.
It’s all part of the Milford Readers and Writers Festival weekend.
Kelly’s books include “Band of Giants,” which won the DAR History Medal and “The Edge of Anarchy.” He will converse with historian Brian Carso, author of “Gideon’s Revolution: The Plot to Capture Benedict Arnold.” Carso, as both a lawyer and historian, has written broadly about the American experience, including a scholarly book on the history of treason.
All Main Stage programs at the Milford Theater include a Q&A with the authors. Book signings by mainstage authors will be at the theater following the panels. On Saturday evening, there will be a private reception with festival speakers, open only to festival pass-holders.
