What happened last year?

Before I write a column, I check what I wrote last year. Last year I was talking about the freezing rain and snow that was coming. This has been a real crap year, but we are blessed with great weather, it might be a little chilly but it is sunny and bright most of the time. It's nice to get out and about and enjoy our town, just take a ride around our beautiful Lake Huntington and your mood will change right away.

I have a few friends in the Roscoe Nursing Home. One is Olga Viruet and she is having a birthday on Monday, October 26. It would be great if her friends could send her a birthday card: Roscoe Community Nursing Home, 420 Rockland Rd, Roscoe, NY 12776. To go up and visit her, I have to go get a Coronavirus test, the test is only good for 7 days. Then you have to get an appointment with the nursing home. On Sunday, October 18, I am going to Ahava Medical and Rehabilitation Center in Liberty to get a Coronavirus test. I will be going to visit Olga on Friday, October 23 and hopefully Carol Rosenberger. I hope this all works out. I miss these ladies, they make me laugh with their stories.

The Womans Community Club of Cochecton invites everyone to a Pampered Chef Party from Saturday, October 17th thru Friday, October 23rd. This is a great way to benefit the WCCC. Look for a member to email you an invitation, or contact Pam Deman at pamdeman@aol.
