The weeks seem to go by so quickly. On Wednesday I went to Ocean City, Maryland with my cousin Donnie and his wife Rose, returning on Saturday.

I always wanted to experience a bike week, when you see it on facebook or TV it looks so cool. When I tell you hundreds of bikers were in Ocean City for bike week, I mean hundreds, maybe even thousands. My ears are still ringing from the noise of them revving their engines. I do not understand why they do that, maybe to be cool?

On Friday night the hotel we were staying at and the one across the road had an outside party where they were playing Corn Hole and drinking. I understand they were on vacation and having a great time but at 3 a.m., they needed to shut up and go to bed. I did say a little prayer and wish explosive diarrhea on all of them as they were driving home on their bikes.

We had a good time, it was really nice to get away. We took the Ferry across from NJ to Delaware. Going over it was nice and calm. Coming home not so nice, very rough, but not as bad as when I was with Pastor Phyllis whale watching in Massachusetts.

The Cochecton Youth Commission's next meeting is on Tuesday, October 6th at 7 p.m. There is an opening on the board. If you are interested, please stop by the meeting and speak to the president Sue Grund for more information. At the meeting the board will be discussing what the CYC will do for Halloween Trick-A-Trunk.

Are you ready for a paint party to break up the boredom? Laurel's Hometown Cafe is at it again! She is offering two dates for this great art opportunity! On October 8th or October 30th you can enjoy painting a beautiful fall farm scene on a tin can. The cost is free for Cochecton youth and $47.50 for out-of-town friends and adults. This amount includes dinner, drinks, and dessert. Both parties will start at 5 p.m. Please contact Michelle at (570) 419-8801 as soon as possible. Space is extremely limited due to social distancing.

Thank you everyone that helped make The Cochecton Men's Club chicken BBQ another success!! We couldn't do it without all the people who volunteer their time and energy and all the wonderful neighbors who purchased tickets.

Keep smiling and have a great week and you can e-mail me at leeniebeans@

citlink.net or call 845/252-3568 if you have any news. My new deadline is Friday.
