Coming here to escape COVID-19?

HONESDALE, PA — Wayne Memorial Hospital has issued an urgent public health message asking "anyone coming from an area significantly affected by COVID-19, such as New York City," to self-quarantine for 14 days.

"You may be coming here to get away from COVID-19. Please help us keep it away from here," the announcement reads.

The hospital also noted that those who need a primary care provider can call its referral line at 570/253-8990. More information about the hospital's pre-screening process is available here.
