The following cases were addressed by the Raymond L. Hamill, President Judge, Wayne County:

BOBBIE L. SPAULDING, age 51 of Hawley, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 99 days nor more than 24 months less 99 days in the Intermediate Punishment Program, for one count of DUI, a Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree.  She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $725.00, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment, and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program. The incident occurred on January 3, 2016, in Hawley Borough, PA.

AMANDA WOLK, age 28 of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to a State Correctional Institution for a period of not less than 18 months nor more than 7 years for one count of Delivery of Controlled Substance-Heroin, an ungraded Felony. She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample, and pay $250.00, for the cost. The incident occurred on September 10, 2016, in Lebanon Township, PA.

ERIC FREDERICK SKINNER, age 45 of Waymart, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 153 days nor more than 12 months for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking, a Misdemeanor of the 3rd Degree. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution andundergo a drug and alcohol evaluation. The incident occurred between December 27, 2016 and February 10, 2017, in Buckingham Township, PA.

RAYMOND STACHNICK, age 29 of Simpson, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an ungraded Misdemeanor. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $200.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, and comply with all conditions and rules at The Retreat at White Birch. The incident occurred on April 11, 2017, in Salem Township, PA.

DANIEL ABBOTT, age 53 of Hawley, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded Misdemeanor. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, continue with drug and alcohol treatment, and perform 50 hours of community service within 3 months. The incident occurred on October 27, 2016, in Honesdale Borough, PA.

TYLER MICHAEL ARIS, age 20 of Honesdale, PA, was sentenced to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 48 months for one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Marijuana, an ungraded Felony. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $300.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, undergo a mental health evaluation, and submit to the drawing of a DNA sample, and pay $250.00 for the cost.

STEPHEN GELATT, age 19 of Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for 12 months for one count of Theft from a Motor Vehicle,graded as a Misdemeanor of the 3rd Degree. He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $100.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation, perform 50 hours of community service within 3 months, and obtain employment within 30 days. The incident occurred on January 9, 2017, in Honesdale Borough, PA.

CHARLCIE BRINK, age 25 of Lake Ariel, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 40 hours of community service. The incident occurred on May 13, 2017, in Paupack Township, PA.

MARIA DESANTI, age 23 of Hawley, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to Possession of Controlled Substance. She was also ordered to pay all Court costs and perform 40 hours of community service. The incident occurred on April 28, 2017, in Texas Township, PA.
