Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announces the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:

CHAD KEYON ANDERSON, age 33 of Hawley Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Simple Assault – Mutual Consent (M3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, complete an anger management program, and obtain employment within 30 days. The incident occurred on October 25, 2019 in Honesdale Borough.

SHAWN PATRICK CADEN, age 35 of Honesdale Pa, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. He was also ordered to pay all costs, have her driving privileges suspended for a period of 60 days, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, complete 20 hours of community service, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on November 15, 2020 in Canaan Township.

JENNIFER ELIZABETH CALLOW, age 31 of Newfoundland Pa, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. She was also ordered to pay all costs, have her driving privileges suspended for a period of 60 days, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, complete 20 hours of community service, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on January 2, 2021 in Dreher Township.

ALISON ANN CAVANAUGH, age 41 of Moscow Pa, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. She was also ordered to pay all costs, have her driving privileges suspended for a period of 60 days, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, complete 20 hours of community service, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on November 6, 2020 in Salem Township.

CURTIS GARY CARROLL, age 51 of White Mills Pa, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 55 days nor more than 180 days for one count Illegally Operate Vehicle Without Ignition Interlock (M) and one count Harassment – Engage in a Course of Conduct (S). He was also ordered to pay the cost of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $300.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and complete an anger management program. These incidents occurred on July 13, 2020 and September 7, 2020 in Texas Township.

JEFFREY ALLEN DEROSS, age 37 of Hawley Pa, was sentenced to 6 months probation for one count of Disorderly Conduct – Hazardous/Offensive Condition (M3), two counts of Harassment – Strike, Shove, Kick or other Physical Condition (S). He was also ordered to pay a $500.00 fine, complete an anger management program, maintain employment, complete 20 hours of community service and surrender all weapons and ammunition to law enforcement. The incident occurred on March 27, 2021 in Berlin Township.

CHRISTOPHER W. HOUMAN, age 35 of Waymart Pa, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 23 ½ months followed by 2 years probation for one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking (M1), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), Possession of a Small Amount of Marijuana (M), Criminal Attempt – Theft of Secondary Metal (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $2,349.71, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and obtain employment within 30 days of parole. The incidents occurred on June 15, 2019 through July 16, 2019 and February 19, 2020 in Honesdale Borough.

SEAN JAMES McWILLIAMS, age 28 of Simpson Pa, was sentenced to 12 months probation for one count of Disorderly Conduct – Hazardous or Physically Offensive Condition (M3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a $300.00 fine, undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, complete an anger management program, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on May 16, 2020 in Paupack Township.

JAMES CHARLES NIX, age 45 of Talladega AL, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 8 months nor more than 48 months for one count of Terroristic Threats – Violent Crime with Intent to Terrorize (M1), Harassment – Strike, Shove, Kick or Other Physical Contact (M3), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (M), and Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended/Revoked (S). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a $200.00 fine, continue with mental health treatment, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on October 26, 2020 in Honesdale Borough.

MATTHEW JOHN O’NEILL, age 41 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 23 ½ months for one count of Retail Theft – Take Merchandise (F3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, continue with his mental health treatment, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and obtain employment within 30 days of parole. The incident occurred on March 11, 2021 in Texas Township.

BRYANT KENNETH-LOUIS OLDHAM, age 27 of Honesdale Pa, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitative Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to DUI. He was also ordered to pay all costs, have her driving privileges suspended for a period of 60 days, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, complete 20 hours of community service, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on December 3, 2020 in Honesdale Borough.

MISTI R. ROBINSON, age 41 of Gouldsboro Pa, was sentenced to a $200.00 fine and costs of prosecution for one count of Disorderly Conduct – Hazardous/Physical Offensive (M3). The incident occurred on March 8, 2020 in Lehigh Township.

DONALD FREDRICK STOUT, age 25 of Honesdale Pa, was sentenced to 6 months probation with 48 hours house arrest through the SCRAM program for one count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (M) and one count of Duties at Stop Sign (S). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $525.00, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and schedule a mental health evaluation within 3 days and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on September 20, 2020 in Salem Township.

JONATHAN ROBERT YACINOVICH, age 25 of Lake Ariel Pa, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 4 months nor more than 60 months for one count of Driving Under the Influence – Schedule 1 Controlled Substance (M1) and one count of Reckless Driving (S). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $1,700.00, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and obtain employment within 30 days of parole. The incident occurred on December 19, 2019 in Paupack Township.

NICHOLAS DANIEL McDERMOTT, age 28 of Throop Pa, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear for a Sentencing Hearing.

JOSEPH GOONAN, age 51 of Hawley Pa, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear for a Criminal Proceeding.
