Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following case was addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:

HONESDALE, PA- August 25, 2022

BASIL IAN BANNISTER, age 59, of Scranton PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. He was also ordered to pay all costs, complete 20 hours of community service, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 60 days. The incident occurred on March 12, 2022 in Sterling Township.

JAMES R. BURROWS JR., age 49, of Union Dale, PA was sentenced to undergo incarceration in a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 28 months nor more than144 months followed by a mandatory period of probation of 6 years for one count Corruption of Minors – Related to Sexual Offenses (F3) and one count Unlawful Contact with Minor – Sexual Offenses (F3). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and register as a Lifetime Tier III Offender. The incidents occurred between April 19, 2021 through April 30, 2021 and September 20, 2021 through October 4, 2021 in Preston Township.

JAIME LYNN CURTIS, age 45, of Campbell Hall, NY, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in a State Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 13 months nor more than 72 months for one count Driving Under the Influence – Controlled Substance (M1), one count False Identification to Law Enforcement Authorities (M3) and one count Driving While Operating Privileges Suspended/Revoked (S). She Was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $2,700, and participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with her assessment. The incident occurred on August 14, 2017 in Honesdale Borough.

CHERYL ENDY, age 54, of Whitehall, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 6 months with 60 days House Arrest with Electronic and Alcohol Monitoring through the SCRAM program for one count Driving Under the Influence (M). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory fine of $1,000, participate and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with her assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, continue with mental health treatment and comply with all treatment recommendations, and complete 20 hours of Community Service. The incident occurred on March 7, 2022 in Honesdale Borough.

VANDERGRIFF PETER FULLER, age 24, of Beach Lake, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 15 days nor more than 18 months for one count Recklessly Endangering Another Person (M2) and one count Driving Under the Influence – Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, continue with mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and obtain employment within 30 days of parole or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on December 8, 2021 in Damascus Township.

SEAN HEALY, age 37, of Center Moriches, NY, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count Unlawful Dissemination of Intimate Image (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and have no contact with the victim. The incident occurred on October 1, 2020 in Texas Township.

NIKOLAOS JAMES KOPOULOS, age 24, of Bethpage, NY, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 40 days nor more than 36 months for one count Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Cocaine (F). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on September 4, 2021 in Buckingham Township.

THOMAS VINCENT LODINI, age 27, of Lake Ariel, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 1 month nor more than 23 ½ months for one count Criminal Trespass – Enter Structure (F3), one count Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition (M1), and one count Criminal Mischief – Tamper with Property (M2). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay restitution in the amount of $6,452.45, and continue with mental health treatment and comply with any recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred between May 11, 2021 and May 18, 2021 in lake Township.

CHRISTINE MARIE McADAMS, age 46, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 12 months for one count Retail Theft – Take Merchandise (M1). She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a fine in the amount of $500, and continue with mental health treatment and comply with any and all recommendations. The incident occurred on December 14, 2021 in Texas Township.

AUSTIN AVERY QUALTERS, age 19, of Lake Ariel, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. He was also ordered to pay all costs, complete 20 hours of community service, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 90 days. The incident occurred on March 2, 2022 in Salem Township.

CHRISTOPHER D. SERODY, age 59, of Greeley, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 18 months with 3 months House Arrest with Electronic and Alcohol Monitoring through he SCRAM program for one count Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Crystal Methamphetamine (F). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any and all recommendations for treatment, and obtain employment within 60 days of sentencing or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred between July 27, 2020 and October 1, 2020 in Texas Township.

CHRISTOPHER PHILLIP SIMPSON, age 38, of Tobyhanna, PA, was sentenced to undergo incarceration in the Wayne County Correctional Facility for a period of not less than 8 months nor more than 23 ½ months for one count Resisting Arrest (M2) and one count Driving Under the Influence (M). He was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, pay a mandatory minimum fine of $1,000, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, participate in and cooperate with the drug and alcohol addiction treatment in accordance with his assessment, continue with mental health treatment and comp with any and all recommendations for treatment, resolve all outstanding warrants within 60 days of parole, and obtain employment within 60 days of parole or provide documentation from a doctor precluding him from employment. The incident occurred on March 17, 2021 in Lehigh Township.

JODY STANTON, age 55, of Honesdale, PA, was placed on the Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition Program for a period of 6 months related to a DUI. He was also ordered to pay all costs, complete 20 hours of community service, complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with any recommendations for treatment, and have his operator’s license suspended for a period of 60 days. The incident occurred on February 17, 2022 in Honesdale Borough.

TAMMY ANN STRASBURGER, age 46, of Lake Ariel, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 6 months for one count Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. She was also ordered to pay the costs of prosecution, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment. The incident occurred on May 27, 2022 in Texas Township.

ALLEN ALFRED CONKLING III, age 29, of Damascus, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.

ALAURA LYNN DELONG, age 24, of Neversink, NY, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.

MELISSA FINCH, age 36, of Childs, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.

TYLER JOSEPH NEGLIA, age 22, of Hawley, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.

BAILY SCOTT VANLOAN, age 22, of Starlight, PA, was issued a Bench Warrant for failure to appear at court.
