WAYNE COUNTY, PA — Wayne County residents who are veterans can bring their Honorable Discharges to the Wayne County Veterans Affairs Office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 12 noon for an application for the Wayne County discount program.

Picture ID cards will be issued by the Wayne County Sheriff’s office, and the veteran can then present this card at a participating merchant to receive a pre-determined discount from the business.

A current list of participating businesses can be found at www.co.wayne.pa.us. Businesses that wish to participate can contact the Veteran’s Affairs office and supply information about a discount or other special offer that a veteran with an approved card can receive. Call 570/253-5970, ext. 3
