TOWN OF DELAWARE, NY — The Mid Hudson Regional Council recently released its 2023 update to the original 2010 Greenhouse Gas Emissions (GHG) Inventory.
The Town of Delaware notably reduced its emissions by 26 percent.
The report looks at emissions data for 2021 across six sectors of the regional economy: transportation, buildings, waste and wastewater, industrial processes, agriculture and energy supply. Overall, the data show an eight percent decrease in GHG emissions for the seven-county region when compared to the baseline data from 2010.
