NARROWSBURG, NY — The Ruffed Grouse Gallery will hold an opening reception for its fall exhibition from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, September 28 at the gallery.

The exhibition is titled “Field Notes: Tali Burry-Schnepp, Henry Murphy, Bethann Parker,” and will remain on view through December 29.

This marks the first exhibition at the gallery for the three artists, and features new paintings and textiles.

Burry-Schnepp lives and works in Philadelphia, PA. She is a painter, printmaker and self-taught weaver, and she works with contemporary paints and pigments as well as natural fibers and dyes.

Murphy is a painter in Philadelphia, and paints primarily from direct observation but also implements principles from classical landscape traditions, folk art and pre-photography sources.

Parker is from the Appalachians. She conducts interdisciplinary research and material experimentation in her Easton, PA studio, and works with thick oil paint, marble dust and collage.

The gallery is located at 144 Main St.
