Hello, how are you all doing?

Sullivan West’s football team came home winners even though they did not win the game.

Offensive coordinator Justin Diehl posted on the SW Gridiron Club Facebook page, “I would just like to thank everyone in the community that has showed the team support this season. It has been amazing. Unfortunately, it’s not the ending that we wanted but at the end of the day, we couldn’t have asked for better support from our family, friends and community. Thank you from all of us coaches and players. We can’t do what we do without your support.”

People were saying a huge thank-you to Jeffersonville, Lake Huntington, Cochecton, Youngsville and Hortonville Fire Departments, the Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance. Along with family and friends, they made it an amazing send-off. Check out the great video on Facebook.

On Tuesday, November 9, the American Red Cross collected 36 units of blood at a drive hosted by the Lake Huntington Fire Company. It has the potential to save 100 lives. Thank you to all involved—volunteers, Red Cross staff and, most of all, the donors. Thank you also to the crew of the Lake Huntington Fire Company.

The Cochecton Youth Commission is having a board game event. If you are a member, you would have gotten an email with the form you have to fill out and return plus a Facebook reminder. The deadline is November 18 at 10 p.m.

Please follow the New Cochecton Youth Commission on Facebook for more upcoming events. If you are not a member, send a message on Facebook to the New Cochecton Youth Commission or you can text Sue at 845/866-0853 for more information.

Keep smiling and have a great week. You can email me at leeniebeans@citlink.net or call 845/252-3568 if you have any news. My new deadline is Friday.
