HONESDALE, PA — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced that the Superior Court upheld the murder conviction of Antonio H. Cilino, for the shooting of his brother, Joseph Cilino on September 2, 2016.
On January 24, 2018, a jury found the Defendant guilty of third-degree murder, simple assault and two counts of recklessly endangering another person. On March 1, 2018, the Defendant was sentenced to 197 months to 408 months in a State Correctional Facility. Please see the attached opinion from the Superior Court for further details.
District Attorney Howell commented, “When a higher court upholds a conviction and sentence, it is an affirmation of the integrity of that conviction and trust in our judicial system.”
