LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY — The SUNY Sullivan Foundation has received a $5,000 grant from Jeff Bank, made possible through the Federal Home Loan Bank of New York (FHLBNY), to support working capital expenses.

“The foundation is grateful to have Jeff Bank’s support,” said Jose Herrera, foundation chair. “These funds will certainly enhance the foundation’s efforts to rally private support for SUNY Sullivan’s programs in the future.”

“Many very worthy local businesses and nonprofits have benefited from the distribution of grant funding obtained through this unique program. We’re pleased to be able to support the SUNY Sullivan Foundation which assists many students and families with scholarships to attend SUNY Sullivan,” a Jeff Bank spokesperson said.

“We are grateful to our longtime community partner, Jeff Bank, and past foundation board member Jeff Bank president/CEO George Kinne,” said SUNY Sullivan president Dr. David Potash.

Jeff Bank has successfully secured SBRG funding to assist local nonprofits as they navigate economic challenges, including rising interest rates, inflation, supply chain disruptions and increasing energy costs.

The SUNY Sullivan Foundation offers scholarships, program funding and strategic initiatives that can prepare students for success in their careers and communities.
