June is almost at a close, and we cannot wait for school to be out for summer! Lots of great things are planned for these summer months and we are looking forward to exploring our own backyard more.

June is almost at a close, and we cannot wait for school to be out for summer! Lots of great things are planned for these summer months and we are looking forward to exploring our own backyard more.

Adult Ballet Classes are offered at the Delaware Youth Center. Whether you danced as a kid or have always been interested in learning, this eight-week adult ballet class is for you.

Open to all age levels 18+, we’ll learn the basics of ballet vocabulary and placement through barre and center floor exercises in order to embody the elegance and grace of your inner ballerina.

It takes place on Tuesdays from June 21 through August 16 (skipping July 5) from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Delaware Youth Center.

The Western Sullivan Library is offering many reading programs and activities this summer.

The Narrowsburg Chamber of Commerce and Tusten Youth Commission will co-host a family-friendly July Fourth celebration at Fireman's Field on Monday, July 4 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be live music, carnival activities, food and drink, games and inflatable rides, plus  lots of vendors (selling merchandise, food, beer and wine).
