Sullivan to move to Phase 3

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — It’s one step closer to our familiar lives.

On Tuesday, June 23, the county was scheduled to enter Phase 3, reopening more non-essential businesses like personal care services such as nail salons and tattoo parlors. (Safety concerns, limited capacity and social distancing will apply). Restaurants can reopen for indoor dining if they can maintain up to 50 percent capacity and keep tables six feet apart.

Gatherings of 25 people will be allowed.

The county government center will continue to be open by appointment only. “You can get service,” said county manager Josh Potosek at Monday’s Town Hall on June 22 “but call first.”
