NEW YORK STATE — Aging services in the Mid-Hudson region, which includes Sullivan County, are projected to receive $8 million in additional funds in the Governor’s 2026 Executive State Budget for the Office of the Aging (NYSOFA). This covers critical services and supports like personal care, case management, nutrition, and many other services provided locally by Offices for the Aging.
Based on currently reported local needs and projections, this would result in an increase of an estimated $8,161,657 for aging services in the Mid-Hudson Region counties.
