Posted

On June 25, 2013, State Police in Middletown arrested Eric B. Reynolds, age 27, for failing to provide authorities with his correct address to comply with the state’s Sex Offender Registration Act.

In January 2013, Reynolds, a convicted sex offender, registered with the Town of Mount Hope Police Department, providing an address in the Village of Otisville. Troopers learned that Reynolds never actually resided at that address, and has been living at the Middletown Motel on Route 211 in the Town of Wallkill, where he was arrested.

Reynolds was charged with failing to provide a change of address within ten days, a felony. He was arraigned in Town of Wallkill Court, and committed to Orange County Jail in lieu of $3,000.00 cash bail.
