Occasional snow squalls are expected this morning through the afternoon, mainly until 4 pm. Expect rapidly changing conditions during any snow squall, including near whiteout conditions, wind gusts of 30 to 40 mph, and a temperature drop. While any one snow squall should be short-lived lasting less than 30 minutes, hazardous travel conditions can occur including the potential for icy roads.
If you are caught in a snow squall while driving, please slow down, turn on your headlights and hazard lights, and allow plenty of distance between you and the car in front of you. It is also best not to slam on your brakes.
