HIGHLAND LAKE, NY — The North American Cultural Laboratory (NACL Theatre) will welcome back the awe-inspiring, gutter-trawling, jaw-dropping, side-splitting, dream-weaving acts and artists of Manhattan’s Lower East Side palace of variety: the Slipper Room on Saturday, June 30. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. The show is typically sold out, so it’s a good idea to make reservations
This may be the most over-the-top show that the Slipper Room has brought to NACL Theatre to date. Featuring an all-star cast, made up exclusively of members of the wild and wacky wing of New York City performance art scene. There’ll be a Borscht Belt-style comedy duo, Mel and Fanny Frye; a hula-hoop sensation, Pinkie Special; a goatish mythical beast, GoGoatboy and many more.
