HONESDALE — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court on April 17, 2025:

BRIAN LANZA, age 36, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to three (3) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility followed by probation for a period of twenty (20) months on one count of Receiving Stolen Property.

MICHAEL SCARPATI, age 46, of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to no less than fifteen (15) months nor more than twenty -three and a half (23 ½) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Criminal Trespass- Enter Structure.

DAVID HIPSMAN, age 31, of White Mills, PA was sentenced to a period of Probation for twenty-four (24) months on one count of Corruption of Minors followed by a period of Probation to run consecutive for twelve (12) months on one count of Invasion of Privacy.

SHANE LOOMIS, age 27, of Lakewood, PA was sentenced to no less than three (3) months nor less than forty-eight (48) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Accident Resulting in Death or Injury, one count of DUI and one count of Driving at Safe Speed.

BOBBIE BASS, age 44, of Gouldsboro, PA was sentenced to no less than four (4) months nor more than eighteen (18) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

EDGAR ADAMES-MATEO, age 24, of Yonkers, NY was sentenced to no less than thirty (30) days nor more than eighty-one (81) days incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition.

MATTHEW KEFFER, age 21, of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to no less than fifteen (15) months nor more than sixty (60) months incarcerated in a State Correctional Institution on one count of Delivery of Fentanyl- Less than 1 Gram.
