HONESDALE, PA -- Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced that the following cases were addressed on May 2 by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court:

Frances Palmieri, 32, of Lake Ariel, PA, was placed on probation for a period of 18 months on one count of Retail Theft–Take Merchandise, a misdemeanor.

Jeffery Allen, 53, of Equinunk, PA, was sentenced to 121 days (time served) to 12 months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Simple Assault and one count of DUI–General Impairment/Incapable of Safe Driving, both misdemeanors.

Bambi Kearns, 41, of Newfoundland, PA, was found to be in violation of her parole and was remanded to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for the remainder of her sentence, which is September 11, 2024.

Cassandra Brooks, 24, of Carbondale, PA, was found to be in violation of her parole and was remanded to the Wayne County Correctional Facility for the remainder of her sentence, which is August 30, 2026.
